Life at Freckleton Lodge
Something to look forward to every day
Our activities coordinator plans the week with residents, so there is always something going on for those who want it, and a quiet corner for those who do not.

Activities
Music, games, pampering and trips out
- Music therapy
- Hand massage and manicures
- Bingo and quizzes
- Themed days through the year
- Trips out, including to Lytham St Annes
- Time in the garden and the summer house
Residents choose what they would like to join in with, and there is never any pressure to take part.

Visitors to the home
Friends from the village
Theo, our PAT dog, visits every week and is always given a warm welcome. Local volunteers come in every week to spend time with residents, and the local priest and vicar hold regular services at the home.
A hairdresser visits every week and a chiropodist every six weeks.
Having a say
Residents help run the home
Residents have their own council, which meets every month to have a say on menus, activities and outings. Families are invited to a family meeting every three months, so everyone can share ideas and hear what is planned.
