Freckleton Lodge is run by Bloem Care, and it is their only care home. That shows in the small things: familiar faces, a manager whose door is open, and time to sit and chat.

Led by Debbie Kay, Registered Manager since 2018
Debbie Kay has been Registered Manager at Freckleton Lodge since 2018. She and her team plan each person’s care with them and their family, and review it as their needs change.

Our history
Purpose built in 1981, refurbished in 2025
Freckleton Lodge was purpose built as a single-storey care home in 1981 and was refurbished in 2025. Bloem Care has run the home since 2019.
The home was named one of carehome.co.uk’s Top 20 Care Homes in the North West in 2018 and 2019.
Residents have a say
Residents have their own council, which meets every month to have a say on menus, activities and outings.
Families involved
Families are invited to a family meeting every three months, and visitors are welcome at any time.
Part of the village
Local volunteers visit every week, and the local priest and vicar hold regular services at the home.
